Why tutoring?

Information is available these days, and now it is more about curation and confidence.

Curation - Knowing how to distinguish between more and less trustworthy sources of information. Even among trustworthy sources, there are some approaches which are simply easier, and taking the easier path is fine dandy.

Confidence - Dealing imposter syndrome, math anxiety, and similar are an important part of the process. Lowering barriers to entry is the key here. I am not a therapist, but I can present information in a way that is accessible. If getting into a topic is painless, then people can spend more time trying things out and finding put not only what subjects interest them, they can find out which subjects they end up not liking without overcommitting.
